Her newest role commenced in September of 2022 when she was named the co-host of “Great Day at 9A”, along with Scot Haney. In addition to that, she hosts weekly franchises including: “Family Friday”, “The Bright Spot”, “What’s Going On”, and “3 Things You Need to Know & 1 You Don’t”. Nicole also produces and hosts a weekly show called, “Mommyhood Unscripted”–which is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Prior to coming to Connecticut, Nicole worked for several years anchoring and reporting in the mornings at WWLP in Springfield, MA. While there, she was one of the first “live on-scene” journalists from western Massachusetts, during the manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect; CNN reported several of her live reports and her coverage led to an Emmy-winning newscast. Just days after Hurricane Sandy paralyzed regions of the Northeast, Nicole accompanied local pilots who were delivering help to one of the hardest struck areas in New Jersey and documented her journey. She also reported on the deadly tornado that ripped through western Massachusetts in 2011.
While in College, Nicole was appointed for a post-grad internship at CBS News in New York on the “Evening News with Katie Couric”–where she saw herself handing her favorite T.V. anchor her scripts each night. She also pitched an investigative piece for 60 Minutes which she delivered in front of CBS News execs.
When Nicole is not on air, Nicole keeps very active in the community. She volunteers for countless non-profits that benefit children, mothers, animals, the special needs community, and music. She also commits much of her free time to visiting local schools, raising money for charity, and attending numerous events.
