On that day she set a course to become a journalist and to someday work at KING 5. Now, her dream is realized, and this proud Seattleite gets to report news and inform stories in her home community.
Upon graduating from college, Madison commenced her journalism profession at KRCR in Redding, California, then at WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee. Before joining KING 5, she worked as the evening anchor at ABC10 in Sacramento, California.
Madison is interested in investigative and long-form journalism. At ABC 10, she began a true crime series named Unsolved California. It’s very rewarding to bring understanding to cases that have gone cold, increasing the possibility of a break in the case and resolution for victims’ families. At ABC10, Madison received an Emmy award for coverage of a string of devastating and fatal wildfires in Northern California.
Apart from being a journalist, Madison is a mental health advocate and will consistently find ways to share her journey with individuals to help others. In her off time, she loves to be outside exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her two dogs, Griffey and Filson. Madison also loves the water and she finds peace either fishing or hiking. Recently, she discovered her love for golf and she is currently working on perfecting her swing. She is a big Seattle sports lover. Madison will jump at any chance to attend a game.
