During his early years of life, Adam lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it was there in the snowy winters and harsh cold that his love for weather began.
After transferring to Montgomery, Alabama, his fascination with weather continued to grow with tropical weather and severe storms becoming more of the norm. This passion guided him to pursue a degree in meteorology.
Adam’s second stop was at WCIA in Champaign, Illinois where he gained valuable experience covering extreme weather, including the largest December tornado outbreak in Illinois history on the 1st of December 2018, with 29 confirmed tornadoes.
Adam is extremely thrilled to call the Pacific Northwest his home and is ready for all that it has to offer. The outdoors is where he loves to spend his free time, so if you know about a great trail to hike or anything else nature-related, let him know. Also, while away from the weather studio, Adam enjoys playing sports (or anything competitive) helping my church with volunteer work, and eating.
