Prior to joining WGN, he spent time at the NBC affiliate stations in Columbia, Missouri, and Memphis, Tennessee as a sports reporter, anchor, and producer. His work has been celebrated by the Illinois Broadcasters Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters.
While at the University of Missouri, Josh served as the sports director of the campus television station MUTV and also worked for a few years at KOMU-TV, the local NBC affiliate possessed and operated by the Missouri School of Journalism.
