Erin came to WFSB (CBS), Connecticut’s most-watched television station in 2014 and can be seen on weekdays anchoring Eyewitness News at 5, 6, and 11 p.m. During her time at WFSB, Erin had the chance to cover Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, the Traveler’s Championship, and the 2016 Presidential Debate at Hofstra University in New York.

Before arriving in Connecticut, Erin served as an anchor and reporter for Time Warner Cable News in Albany, New York. While there, she reported on some major political stories at the New York State Capitol including several Presidential visits. Some of her favorite duties include reporting from the Travers Stakes in Saratoga Springs, the men’s NCAA Final Four Basketball tournament in Atlanta, and the New York State Fair in Syracuse.

Erin also served as an anchor and reporter for KEYC (CBS/FOX) in Mankato, Minnesota, and WCTI (ABC/FOX) in New Bern, North Carolina. Her first journalism career was at the nationally syndicated hit television show, Inside Edition. As a story coordinator, Erin worked in a fast-paced newsroom booking numerous exclusives and had the chance to interview several celebrities and news personalities at red carpet events, including Walter Cronkite, Gayle King, Elton John, John Travolta, Jon Bon Jovi, and Billy Joel.

In 2020, Erin was honored as a “40 Under Forty Awards” honoree for the Hartford Business Journal for Connecticut Magazine and in 2021 The Irish Echo, the country’s oldest Irish-American newspaper. She also earned the “Irish Heritage Award” from The Irish Echo.

As part of the station’s investigative unit, she assisted in spearheading the series, Fugitive Files, which featured local cold cases. The stories resulted in countless arrests and brought justice to several families. One of her proudest professional achievements came in 2017 when she was able to share the story of a local guy in desperate need of a liver. An audience saw Erin’s piece and made the selfless decision to donate her organ and save the guy’s life. Erin was able to reunite the two following the surgery, and they are now friends for life. An involved volunteer, she has supported raising money for countless Connecticut organizations and charities.

While at college, Erin acted as co-captain of the women’s basketball team and was honored on the NESCAC All-Academic Team. She made 99 three-pointers during her four-year profession with the Jumbos to rank 12th on the team’s all-time list for that category. Erin also was the Vice President of her freshman class, a Chi Omega sorority sister, a campus tour guide, a viewpoint columnist for the Tufts Daily, an anchor and reporter for TUTV News, and the co-host of a television dating show. In her experienced capacity, Erin acted as the MC of the Tufts Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Dinner in 2019.

She was also the captain of her basketball, soccer, and lacrosse teams at Syosset High School and was appointed Best Female Athlete of her senior class. Erin is a one-time New York State free throw champion. Born and raised on Long Island, she is thrilled to be in the Tri-State area close to her family and friends.
