Nuclo was born and raised to parents in Hamden, Connecticut, United States. Growing up, she credited her father and mother for their love and support, nonetheless, little is known about them.  Thus, this part will be updated as soon as reliable information is out.

Nuclo works at WFSB 3 TV in Connecticut, as a Weekend Morning Anchor. She joined the WFSB team in 2017 and is excited and grateful to be back at the station where she feels her journalism career started. Caitlin interned at WFSB in 2007 while enrolling at the University of Connecticut.

Prior to joining WFSB 3 TV,  she worked for 7 years reporting and anchoring at various stations in Upstate New York, before returning home for an anchor position at News 12 Connecticut in Norwalk in 2015.

Throughout her profession, Caitlin has reported on devastating weather events, flown with the Blue Angels, and has had the privilege of meeting so many incredible individuals who have allowed her to share their stories.

Caitlin’s work has earned multiple awards, including her coverage of the 2009 mass shooting in Binghamton, NY. Her stories have been recognized by the New York State Broadcasters Association, the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists, and the Syracuse Press Club.  In 2020, Caitlin was recognized with an Edward R. Murrow Award for feature reporting.
