He was raised in Indiana and growing up out in the country gave him a perfect area for watching an entire life cycle of storms which sparked his passion for weather from a young age.

Adam’s interest in weather only grew more through college at Ball State University where he was able to get first-hand experience forecasting and tracking supercells and tornadoes all across the Great Plains. He graduated in 2015 with his atmospheric sciences degree.

After graduating, Adam made his way down south to serve as a weekend meteorologist in Louisiana. After about two years there, he relocated to Lexington, Kentucky to work as a weekend meteorologist.

During his 5 years at Kentucky, he has covered it all. From being sent to Florida and North Carolina to report on hurricanes, to historic floods across eastern Kentucky, and the December Tornado Outbreak. In 2021 for Adam’s coverage on-air leading up to the historic flooding, he was honored with ‘Best Weathercast’ by the Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA). In 2020 he was also honored with ‘ Best Meteorologist’ by the KBA.

For the past few years visiting the area, Adam has fallen in love with the Queen City and he is excited to call it home. When he is not chasing the weather, Adam enjoys doing anything that gets him outdoors. He also loves playing disc golf, baseball, and biking, so if you ever see him out and about don’t hesitate to say hi.
