Taylor’s family shifted to Huber Heights, Ohio from Germany when her dad got stationed at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 2003. She graduated from Wayne High School in 2018 prior to moving on to study Media Production and Journalism at UD.
While at UD, Taylor contested on the track and field team as a pole vaulter and long jumper, acted as the head sports editor for the university newspaper, and conducted live interviews with student-athletes involved in every single sport on campus.
Her journey at News Center 7 started in the summer of 2022 when she was fortunate enough to snag a summer internship in the newsroom. From the moment she stepped into the station, she was confident she had chosen the right career.
Taylor is blessed to be able to commence her profession in a newsroom filled with amazing mentors who are willing to help her figure out her way as a journalist. She looks forward to learning more about the community she already loves very much, as well as having the chance to share people’s stories every day she is at work.
