Brandon’s path to becoming a reporter started when he was a kid growing up in Queens, NY. He loved writing poems and short stories in his spare time to express his thoughts and feelings. In high school, Brandon joined the school newspaper and slowly fell in love with conducting interviews and writing stories about his peers. In college, he broadened his experiences through internships at Nine Network Australia in Sydney and CBS News in New York.
Brandon’s first job out of school took him to Parkersburg, West Virginia where he produced, reported, and anchored weekend evening newscasts. During his time there, his reporting on the drug epidemic was honored by the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors and Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters.
After nearly 3 years in Parkersburg, Brandon shifted on to Buffalo, NY. During his time in western New York, he reported on everything from a Democratic socialist upsetting Buffalo’s 4-term incumbent mayor in a Democratic primary to the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal.
Brandon is thrilled to embark on the next leg of his career in Dayton and looks forward to telling stories that can inform and bring individuals together.
