Wilson works for KARE-TV in Minneapolis, MN, as a Sports Director. He joined the KARE 11 team in September of 2021 after spending two years covering Cincinnati sports.
Reggie was born and raised in the St. Louis/Southern Illinois area, where he grew up watching KARE 11’s sister station KSDK. Prior to Queen City, he served as a Sports Anchor/Reporter in Dayton, OH.
His first career was in Wichita, KS serving as a news photojournalist and he worked his way up to covering sports in Dodge City, KS. Reggie went to Minneapolis for the first time in 2015 for the NABJ National Convention, where he faced the amazing Boyd Huppert, who’s become his mentor.
He’s delighted to now be his teammate and tell sports stories in the Twin Cities. When Reggie is not out chasing stories, he enjoys going to church, singing, working out, relentlessly cheering on his beloved St. Louis sports teams (and Mizzou Tigers), spending time with family and friends, and getting out in the community. He is a proud part of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, and the National Association of Black Journalists.
