She is passionate about engaging communities through the stories she tells and wants people to know what’s happening in their community and out on the roads so they can leave their homes without running into any issues.
Prior to moving to the Twin Cities, she served as the morning reporter and fill-in anchor at WICS ABC NewsChannel 20 in Springfield, Illinois. Alicia is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where she wore countless hats as a reporter, anchor, and managing editor for the university’s award-winning news station.
When she was young, Alicia wanted to be a meteorologist or a news anchor for the “TODAY” show though the math and science were a tad bit challenging, so she went down the path she was much better at which is telling stories.
When she is not working, Alicia loves to Catch up on sleep, have a delicious brunch, go on a scenic hike near a lake, and spend the rest of the day grilling and hanging out at the lake with friends and family.
