The program also brings to light global and local situations from fighting human trafficking in the DMV, hearing from individuals on the ground in Ukraine, and getting insight from a former U.S. major general on his personal experience with the war in Afghanistan and the rise of the Taliban.
Tasmin commenced her profession at Ebru TV, an international network, where she reported from the greater New York City region. Her assignments included reporting on the Sandy Hook shooting in Connecticut and breaking news updates from the United Nations. She relocated to Utah, joined ABC4Utah, and founded the station’s first news bureau in southern Utah prior to joining DC News Now in Hagerstown.
