Before joining the DC News Now team, Tosin served as a reporter and fill-in anchor in Nashville, Tenn., reporting on stories including the controversy and removal of the bust of Confederate general and KKK leader Nathan Bedford Forrest from the Tennessee Capitol, the 2020 presidential election, months of protests following the killing of George Floyd, and storm damage from three tornadoes that came through the city.
Prior to going to Nashville, Tosin served as a reporter in Lancaster, Pa., and in Albany, Ga. She is a proud Terp as an alum of Maryland University, College Park, and also is a graduate of Quinnipiac University. When she’s not out reporting, Tosin enjoys hanging out with family and friends, traveling, checking out new restaurants, dancing, and singing, visiting museums, and watching sports, specifically football, soccer, and hockey.
