He began working at the station in 1988 as one of the original on-camera weather presenters in Montreal. Later, in 1993, he opened and managed the British Columbia bureau in Vancouver for five years. He then relocated to Toronto in 1999 to anchor the program Sea to Sea, where he spent nearly 15 years with the network before moving to the U.S. in 2004.
