Jiggetts is a Weekday Morning Anchor at WGN/CLTV in Chicago, Illinois. She co-anchors WGN Morning Newscasts from 4 am and 5 am. Lauren joined this station on July 10th and is thrilled to be part of the WGN family.
Before joining WGN-TV, Lauren spent 10 years working as the weekend news anchor at NBC 5 in Chicago. She is at Channel One News in L.A. and WLVI, the CW affiliate in Boston. While still in school, Lauren interned for CLTV and WFLD-TV.
Lauren was honored with a regional and national Emmy in 2011 for her contribution to the station’s range of the Burr Oak Cemetery Scandal. She has also earned multiple local Emmys. In 2015, she earned the Irv Kupcinet Media Award at the 41st Annual Ed Kelly Foundation Gala.
