After numerous years of waking up early as part of the WGN Morning News team, she has returned to her reporting roots as WGN Evening News features reporter. Erin loves her new position, getting to thoughtfully share the stories of everyday individuals doing excellent and good things across Chicagoland.
Before landing at WGN-TV, Erin spun a 90-mile radius around Chicago, serving as a news reporter and anchor in Milwaukee, South Bend, and Rockford. When she is not anchoring news, you can catch her chasing her wild and crazy four kids and two dogs at home with her hubby, Demetrius Ivory. Before all that, she used to enjoy camping, running, travel adventures, and triathlons.

Ivory had heart failure, as evidenced by the poor blood flow between the chambers. Tests also showed clots had formed in her heart, kidneys, and legs. She went on to lose 30 pounds and become quite weak. In medical terms, she has cardiopmyopathy directing to heart failure. Ivory is carefully monitored by her medical team and her heart function and circulation have improved. On September 2022, she went to work and she was very thankful to God to be alive and for the second chance.
