Huddleston serves as an anchor for the WBRC FOX6 Now at 11 a.m. She also operates as an executive producer of WBRC’s livestream platforms, producing exceptional content for the station’s streaming channels. Clare also anchors and produces a live stream the only newscast that airs each weekday.
She came to the WBRC News team in October 2011. For a decade she operated as an anchor and reporter for Good Day Alabama, reporting everything from breaking news to human-interest stories and light-hearted. Some of the biggest tales she has covered while at WBRC include the Covid pandemic and “Snowmageddon,” the aftermath of the April 2011 tornados.
Prior to working at WBRC, Clare served as a reporter, anchor, and producer for WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa. She started her television job while a student at the University of Alabama. Upon graduation, she accepted a full-time post with WVUA-TV. Clare loved serving the West Alabama society but was glad to come back home to Birmingham when the right chance came along at WBRC.
Outside of work, Clare enjoys running, volunteering, and traveling. Her biggest personal achievement to date is running a marathon a month for a full year (August 2020-August 2021).
Clare also operates on the Board of Directors for the Hope for Autumn Foundation, which raises attention and capital for families who have youngsters fighting cancer. She is also a nationwide volunteer with her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. Outside of work, Clare enjoys running, volunteering, and traveling.
