Sealls worked at NBC15, WPMI-TV in Mobile as a Chief Meteorologist. He was a chief meteorologist in Mobile for 24 years and retired as Chief Meteorologist after 37 years of TV. Before coming to Mobile in 1999, Alan was a meteorologist at the NBC TV station in Chicago. Before NBC TV, he worked for 5 years at the Chicago superstation WGN-TV. While there, he served as a meteorology professor at Columbia College in Chicago. From 1988 to 1992, Alan was a meteorologist at WTMJ-TV & Radio, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His profession began in Albany, Georgia, at WALB-TV.
Besides his career as a weather anchor, Alan teaches weather broadcasting each spring at the University of South Alabama.
