He self-released the gospel album Private Chambers in 2006, a set of original songs that he composed for a play of the same name. Ultimately Todd settled in as a worship pastor at Redemption, a church in Greenville, South Carolina. While there, he recorded “Lord You Are Good,” a part-spoken testimony that hit the Billboard gospel songs chart. In 2016 Todd became a Gospel Digital Song Sales number one in the fall.
