Sydney joined the WJHL Newschannel 11 family in August of 2019 as the noon anchor and breaking news anchor on the morning show.
Before her move to Johnson City, she served as the Weekend Anchor and MMJ at KCBD Newschannel 11, where Sydney managed the weekend morning show and the content that they distributed.
Throughout college, she worked at WSIL TV 3 as their Weekend Evening Producer, as well as at WSIU Channel 8 as an anchor, producer, and reporter, for our school’s TV station. While reporting all of these positions she also managed to graduate Magna Cum Laude my senior year. In the summer of 2015, Sydney interned at FOX 32 Chicago shadowing reporters and videographers while helping the producers in writing and story hunting.
When she is not chasing news, Sydney enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, making Johnson City the perfect match. On the weekends you can often find her downtown, or outside meeting new people.
