In May 2015, Meredith applied for the morning position after Jessica Dill announced she was leaving News 12 and was thrilled when News 12 was able to bring her back home. Moreover, she went back in 2018 to the evening newscasts to anchor the 5 p.m. with Richard Rogers and the 5:30 p.m.
Meredith learned the power and importance of information, as a journalist when she was 10 years old. In addition, her journalism occupation began when she was just 16 years old during an internship at WCBD in Charleston, S.C.
Upon graduation, Meredith’s ambitions took her to the University of Georgia, where she reported, anchored, and produced for NewsSource 15. She also tried her hand at sports covering on Georgia Gameday and dabbled in some weather forecasting.
Meredith worked as a reporter at KCAU-TV in Sioux City, Iowa. She also packed a U-Haul and shifted halfway across the country to work at Channel 9 Eyewitness News team. Within three months, she was promoted to Midday and Morning anchor, where, on the other side, she filed award-winning reports. Finally, she served in sunny Fort Myers, Fla., as a reporter and weekend anchor for WZVN.
