Lexi comes from a military family, so she drove around quite a bit, experiencing a variety of weather elements from snow to hurricanes to tornadoes. These would be just a few of the stepping stones to fuel her passion for studying the weather. Her family ultimately repositioned to Niceville, Florida in 2004 just before Hurricane Ivan would affect the Gulf Coast. This would lead Lexi on her journey to be a meteorologist.
Lexi graduated in 2017 from Florida State University. After graduating, she landed her first broadcast job at KAMC in Lubbock, Texas as the weekend evening meteorologist and remained there until 2019. In 2019, she moved on to KTVE/KARD in West Monroe, Louisiana as the weekday morning meteorologist, where she reported on multiple weather events including the winter storms of 2021, the Easter Sunday tornadoes in 2020 together with Hurricanes Laura and Delta in 2020. Lexi finally landed right at WKRG in 2022 as the weekend morning meteorologist.
When she is not working, Lexi likes to hang out with her dog, Navee, run and exercise, and loves to watch movies or anything involving Marvel. She is thrilled to work for an amazing news
station and is excited to be back home along the Gulf Coast.
