Before becoming a news anchor, Kevin worked for 2 decades as NBC Connecticut’s sports director and reported live from seven World Series, five Super Bowls, countless journeys to the Final Four for UConn men’s and women’s basketball, and many bowl games for UConn football. He was appointed the Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year seven times by his peers.

In addition, Kevin served as the sideline reporter for the UConn Football Radio Network, filled in as a sports anchor for WNBC in New York, and hosted “Sports Talk” on WTIC Newstalk 1080. He also anchored sports at television stations in Huntington, West Virginia, West Virginia, Martinsburg, and Utica, New York.

Kevin attended Phillips Academy High School in Andover, Massachusetts. After that, he joined Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1990 and was named a Division III All-American safety. As a senior in 1989, he assisted lead the Red Devils to the Division III playoffs for the first time ever. He broke the school history with 10 interceptions as Dickinson went undefeated for the first time in 52 years. Kevin also supervised the Dickinson baseball team for three seasons.

When not working, Kevin looks for ways to give back to the society he cares so much about. He has acted as a board member for a variety of local charities and has volunteered as an emcee and host for hundreds of occasions across the state.

Kevin is a married man and is the proud parents of three adult children. When he is not spending time with his family and close friends, he loves going to church, running, working out, reading good books, the 70s, and 80s tunes, rooting for the Mets, UConn, and Giants, as well as relaxing at the beach.
