The talk show is focused on the local sports scene and airs on weekday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. “Sportswise” will premier in “The Sports Rush with Brett Rump,” which airs weekdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. “With Brett Rump and now Kent, we have more than 50 years of College, local High School, and Professional Sports experience & knowledge on the airwaves every weekday,” said WKJG Program Director Mike Ragz. “No other radio station in Fort Wayne can provide that.”
Kent started his journalism career in 1978 with WFFT. He joined WFFT as one of the 12 people employed by the station after it signed on in December of 1977. Later, Kent Joined WKJG in June and spent 21 years with the station as a sports director., videographer, and sports anchor.
