Upon graduating from the University of Nebraska, Marler produced a local sports program. He served as a Sports Anchor at KLKN, KJRH in Tulsa, and then at KHGI (NTV) in Nebraska followed by nearly 1 decade as a Weekend Sports Anchor here at News Channel 11.
Kasey has traveled the country reporting some of the biggest events in sports. Highlights such as watching Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player in one of their final events together.
He is proud that WJHL News Channel 11 has given him the freedom and chance that led to the Tennessee Associated Press Best TV Sportscaster Awards in 2011-2012. Sports Director Kenny Hawkins and Kasey teamed up for three Tennessee Best Sports Program Awards for TDFN and The Virginia Associated Press Award for Year-Round Sports Coverage in 2004.
When Kasey is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and working out.
