She is an Emmy Award-winning anchor who, most recently, served for seven years in Orlando, Florida. While there, she covered some of the nation’s biggest breaking news, including a deadly gator attack at Walt Disney World, several major hurricanes, and the Pulse Nightclub shooting.
Jazmin was also involved in creating the “Project Community: Crusade For Change” series, which centered on the history and impacts of racial inequality in Central Florida.
She commenced anchoring daily news on the student-run “Announcement Crew” at Cleveland’s Saint Joseph Academy. After more than a decade in TV, Jazmin presently takes her storytelling outside of the newsroom.
She is also a domestic violence survivor and, in 2018, she wrote her first book, The Woman With The Oil. Today, Jazmin uses the memoir to educate society about the cycle of abuse and hopefully prevent others from experiencing intimate partner violence.
