Chris began his first TV career in Macon, Georgia, and continued his occupation in Grand Rapids, Kansas City,  MI, MO, and Indianapolis, IN. Moreover, some of his journalism highlights are covering Pope John Paul II’s visit to North America at World Youth Day in Toronto, Canada, and training for a week with the US Marine Corps in San Diego. He’s also been the beneficiary of some of the broadcast’s highest awards, such as two Emmys for Best Newscast and one for Breaking News Coverage.

Chris has always believed in giving back to the communities in which he’s lived. Because of this, he’s been engaged with several charities and causes throughout the years. He operated as MC and host for the MDA Labor Day telethon for nearly 10 years. In 2007 he was flown to Las Vegas for the national MDA conference where he assisted in coaching other TV hosts from around the country. He has also offered his time and energy to the ALS Association, fighting to find a cure for Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
